Eight bars, in order. Hold each one.

About

Why a fermata

A fermata is the sign over a note that tells the player to hold it longer than written: an arc over a dot. It comes from the Italian fermare, to stop, or to stay.

We make bean-to-bar chocolate and sell it only as tasting boxes, because most good chocolate gets eaten while doing something else. Ours comes with one instruction. The bars run in order, lightest to deepest, and there is one rule: don't chew.

Hold the note.

Three things in every box

The order

Lightest to deepest, so a deep bar never flattens the one after it.

The hold

One square on the tongue until it's gone. Nothing else.

The print

Every sleeve carries its number, its percent, its key and its batch.
